Frame of Mind

"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."    ~ Max Planck

Life is about perspective.

You can change something simply by altering the angle in which you think it, see it and feel it.

We are all conditioned to see life as We are. These views come from childhood, previous experiences, present feelings...and so on.

Past and current conditioning act as a biased filter to your eyes, ears, and mindset.

Some days it might feel as if there is thick mud clogging your view, other days you might see with a broad spectrum of vision.

However, with a daily practice of mindfulness, you can change the view to see from another's side, widen a narrow perspective, or simply cleanse your filter to hear a bit clearer.

Mindfulness brings you to be present with exactly what is.

Through mindful moments you choose what and how you see people, places, and circumstances.

Every day as you awake, with the breaths you choose to take, and actions you mindfully make, you are given the gift of choice.

You get to choose how you see the world today and every day.

Three Simple Steps to Start Your Day:

  1. Once you wake up and before getting out of bed, close your eyes and take five long slow deep breaths and set an intention and consciously choose how you want feel through your day… smile with your heart.

  1. Remind yourself every time you physically “change” locations.

(For example, in and out of your car, changing rooms, in and out of your chair, etc. This practice helps you to stay present and engaged with your thoughts and feelings). Take a long, slow, deep breath and set a quick intention for how you want to feel in the next place.

  1. At the end of your day, as you get into bed, close your eyes, take five long, slow, deep breaths and acknowledge yourself and the gift you are to this world.
